The World of More is Digital, it’s the future, and it’s at no additional cost. We at Comcast are enhancing the user experience with service updates for all customers. Our new digital format will bring a clearer picture and better sound, and that’s not all!

New digital TV (Tru2Way, enabled with CableCARD), which you’ll need to purchase at a local retailer


What will it cost?

Comcast will provide customers with an existing digital set-top box up to 2 digital adapters at no additional monthly service cost. Customers without an existing digital set-top box can receive 1 standard digital set-top box and up to 2 digital adapters at no additional monthly service cost.* Most customers won’t even see a change in their bill.


When is this happening?

Updates began in late 2008 and will continue through 2010, so be sure to contact us as soon as possible so you’re ready for the change.


How will you get any new equipment?

Just Click or Call. Install. That’s all! As soon as you receive notice that your neighborhood is upgrading, take action in one of the following ways:

  1. Log onto the website or call 1-877-634-4434 and follow the simple prompts.
  2. Answer 2 simple questions.
  3. Select the right equipment for your TV sets.
  4. Decide how to get your new devices (by mail or in person).


What if you don’t do anything?

You’ll lose some popular channels like ESPN, FOX News, Lifetime and Disney, but you’ll still get our Limited Basic lineup, as well as public and government-access channels. Take action today and keep all your favorite channels!*
